During the linux certification testing of your product if problems are encountered, AppLabs will give you 30 days from the time you are notified of the problem in which to correct it. If appropriate fixes are not received within this 30-day timeframe, your product will be judged to be a failure and your product registration will be closed. At that point, your product will be returned to you using the shipping information you have provided. When appropriate fixes have been made and you have adequately pre-tested the product again, you will be required to re-register and re-submit your product to AppLabs. This will include remitting the appropriate linux certification testing fees.

Product Submission Instructions

1. Online Product Registration - Online product registration is required for all products tested. As a suggestion, you may want to print or bookmark this page so that you can refer back to it after you register. Here are some hints for product registration using the AppLabs website:

• You'll only need to register your company once.
• You can enter multiple contacts for your company: Technical, Marketing, etc. These only need be entered once per contact. You can use this contact information when initiating a testing request by selecting from the drop down menu.
• You will create individual testing requests for each product/Linux distribution you want to have tested. Each testing request will have a unique certification number with the prefix LNX- for reference and tracking purposes.

Sequence of Steps for Online Registration:

• Register a new portal account (your company email id) and create a new password.
• Enter your company information. Click on ‘Create company and login’ to continue.
• Login to the portal with your new account.
• The landing page will display My Projects Dashboard. From here you will add the product(s) to be tested and initiate a testing request.
• Expand the Linux-Tested Test Options and review the program Master Agreement.
• Select the desired test category and click on ‘Submit for Testing’. You may want to make a note of the certification number for reference.
• You will then be contacted by AppLabs with the next steps.
